- 2 big size onions cut into rings and seprated
- 1 cup gram flour or besan
- 1 tbsp of all purpose flour or maida
- 1 tsp of chilly powder
- 1 tsp of chaat masala
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
Mix gram flour, all purpose flour, chilly powder, chaat masala, salt, and add water gradually as the batter should neither be too thick nor runny check the consistency by dipping a onion ring into it the right amount of batter sticks to it and add the rings immediately into hot oil and fry till golden brown and sprinkle chaat masala (optional) and serve hot.
